recognize pure honey
Water method
If a drop of honey is left in a glass filled with water, if it goes directly to the bottom of the glass as a drop, then it is pure honey. You can easily check while standing in the store while buying. If you don't have a glass handy, you can also do the test in a water bottle.
Blotting paper method
A blotting paper will be required in this test. Take few drops of honey on blotting paper. If the paper does not absorb the honey, it is pure. If the honey is adulterated, the blotting paper absorbs it easily.
Cottonwood fire method
Apply honey to a cotton bud and set it on fire. If it catches fire, then pure honey. If the fire does not burn, it must be understood that there is a lot of water in it, which does not allow the fire to burn
and it's completely fake.
Touch method
Take some honey on your finger. If it spreads quickly, you will understand fake honey. Pure honey is quite thick, does not spread easily.
Color recognition method
The color of honey is different according to the flower. Khalisha flowers bloom throughout the Sundarbans in March-April. The color of honey collected at that time is white. Darker (yellow, brown and red) colored honey is available during the middle of the year.
